Lower Antietam - Private Trip - Sun 5 March
Goal on this cool day is a short trip on the Lower Antietam, meeting at Nutters in Sharpsburg at 11:00. MD 34 is the put-in. Set shuttle to Furnace Rapid and go.
Antietam is a PN - practiced novice run. But do dress warmly.
Level is now 450 cfs/ 3.32 ft [CZ = 150/ 2.5] so we anticipate a quick run.
WX -
Sunday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 11 to 16 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.
This trip Beltway-to-Beltway - is about 6 hours. Please let John Snitzer - navajuela@comcast.net 301 349-2003 know you're coming and where to meet.
