Mark Brenneman took a 12-paddler all-K1 (& 1 ducky) gaggle down a low level Little Falls, in low water conditions.  Z Channel is barely navigable - at the bottom everyone took the right hairpin bend with no difficulties.

As usual, low levels bring out the character of the first four rapids, so there was much playing and ferrying here.  Most took out to check out from shore the possibilities in the Big One at this 2.75 ft level.  An unoccupied blue kayak was seen running the Virginia side right next to Rock Island.

Who were we?  Aside from Mark, count Mike A, Chris O, Barb, Ron K, Cindy R, Nehal, Jack F, Anne K, Alf C, and Jeanine, and Gary Steinberg.   No-one did the Beaver, but mark, Anne, Jeanine, and Chris, and Gary did the Virginia side with Gary doing the hairy ferry back across the business end of the Rock Island to go down the Maryland side - Congratulations!

Most of us paddled down to Fletchers to take out, with about four exiting via the Dalecarlia Intake.   Fab sunny day, no wind - couldn't have been better.
