Six of us had a great time on the Rapp today. We had Ginny and Gary Quam, Wes Mills, Wayne McDaniel, Hendrik van Oss and myself.
Level was around 670 cfs or 4.08’. Very pleasant. Lots of water to work around rocks etc. The weather prediction was cloudy, but we had a glorious sunny slightly hazy day. Debris at the put in, made launching a bit hard. Also there is a large debris pile about ½ mile upstream from the take out. Easily avoided but it must be 10-15’ high.
Remington Drug is open for ice cream and sodas again but only for takeout. No sign the county has started construction on the new park at Remington.
