Please contact Mike Keefe if planning to attend: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 315-345-8416.
PFD’s are required, as are helmets for those using spray skirts and are highly recommended for all others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other flotation. Please advise trip coordinator if you need safety equipment.
If ten or more paddlers show up we will divide into groups.
CCA tips for COVID-19:
-Stay in groups of 10 or less, keep recommended social distancing, on and off river
-Avoid carpooling except with pandemic-fellows like family members, etc
-Do not attend if you think you may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks, or if you have any of the signs and symptoms of COVID-19, including but not limited to: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. Please call your medical provider for any symptoms that are concerning to you.
-Wear a proper fitting and functioning face mask covering mouth and nose in parking lots when social distancing cannot be maintained.
-Place a mask in a zip lock bag in your PFD. Carry hand sanitizer.
-Stay in everyone’s comfort zone to reduce rescue needs-work harder on easier water.
