Please come join the BRV paddle club for a jam packed program. Deborah Landau from the MD/DC Chapter of the Nature Conservancy will talk about their preserves that may be of interest to paddlers, e.g., Sideling Hill, Nassawango Cypress Swamp, and an oxbow right in Laurel. We will have a slide show on a recent trip to Georgia's Okefenokee Swamp as well. We may also have an update on the section of the Patapsco that is now runnable with the removal of Bloede Dam. The meeting will be held at the Clara Barton Rec Center off of MacArthur Blvd. in Cabin John. Beer and pizza follow at Bethesda's Ledo's. Meet new paddlers; socialize with old friends.
