Saturday, Dec. 6: Holiday Party, Gear Swap, Election of Officers

The annual CCA Holiday Party will be Saturday, Dec. 6. An action-packed evening can be counted on:

• Bring your gear to swap or sell.

• Bring a dish for the potluck dinner. CCA will provide drinks and supplies.

• Bring your friends and family. All are welcome.

• Books will be distributed to those who expressed interest as part of the annual book swap, and any books not yet spoken for will still be available.

• The program chair has chosen an outstanding kayaking film by Red Bull called "Into Twin Galaxies." It follows a group of explorers crossing the Greenland ice cap by kayak and kite ski to reach the Twin Galaxies river, where they run some insane rapids and water falls. Note that this time it will be live only, not shared on Zoom. So come to the party!

The event is from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Clara Barton Community Center, 7425 MacArthur Boulevard, Cabin John, MD.
