We on the GW Canal had 5 - Barb, Gus, Ken Durr, Wayne, & me. The tree cutting at the Trump Club was not actually at the mouth of the GWC as I'd feared, but stopped about 20 ft upstream. So the current did pull the boles into the Canal, but most seemed to have flushed on through and so no impediment. We paddled across the Po - a bit lower than usual because of the current (5.8 ft) and checked out the path up to the C&O Canal - the great hole where the path up to the towpath was slightly enlarged from when John Snitzer & I discovered it in early Feb. (I've again written the Park to fix it before it washes out the towpath entirely.) Ended the day in warm - 60s temps - but paddled past the entrance to Muddy Branch and so had to drag/carry our boats back to the road at the Pennyfield Lockhouse. Good day.
