CCA, in collaboration with Paddlesport Institute, is offering a OC1 Potomac River clinic on Saturday, August 22 with canoe instructor, Jordan Taylor. This is an all-day clinic for CCA OC1ers comfortable in Class 2-3 rivers. The course will include moving water maneuvers, paddling techniques and mechanics, ranges of motion, body positioning, paddle placement, propulsion and turning.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
You must be a CCA member, and login to the website as a member to register for this clinic.
The course is limited to 6 participants. The cost is $150 dollars.
Registrants will receive a series of skill-assessment questions. In order to achieve a safe and balanced skill set across all registrants, CCA in consultation with Jordan may determine whether or not this course is suited for you. Additional details, logistics and waivers will be shared to those registered for the course. Please note that you must be a CCA member and logged in to the website as a member in order to register.
