Tim and Pam have decided to combine forces on the Goose Start time will be 10:00 AM. Please note this is a change from the 9:00 AM start time I had originally planned.
We'll be meeting at Riverpoint Drive Trailhead [43942 Riverpoint Drive, Sterling (39.0978, -77.4972)] at 10:00 AM to set a shuttle to the put-in on Sycolin Road (39.039625, -77.535250). You can also reach Pam's cell at 571-216-4290. Remember to bring a rope to use to lower your boat down the side of the 25-foot dam we’ll need to portage. 800 cfs is expected, a strong current which will keep us moving along. (CZ = 180) We'll have lunch at Golfcourse Rapid, the stream's mightiest.
