Events - Event View

Hi everyone, just a quick update. For this week I am going to move the Wednesday Evening Paddle to Thursday night. So, our next event will be on 6/26/25. I have to do this because of some meetings at work that were rudely scheduled during our normal paddling time.

So, for 6/26/25, we’ll plan on the Anglers Inn to Lock 10 run. This 4-mile run will give us a chance to play in the Offutt waves, yellow falls, and Stubblefield Falls. This is a great chance to surf, practice attaining, and work on those combat rolls. Or just enjoy a trip down the river, whatever floats your boat (so to speak).

We’ll meet in the Lock 10 parking lot at 6:00PM where we can work out the shuttles up to Old Anglers Inn.

PFDs are required for all. Helmets are required for kayakers using spray skirts and highly recommended for all others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other means of flotation. If you need safety equipment, please advise the trip coordinator in advance. And finally, be prepared for the predicted temperature for that time of day and bring plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.
