The Canoe Cruisers Association of Greater Washington, DC, founded in 1956, has members from Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia and other nearby regions. We are a kayak and canoe club whose main purpose is to unite persons interested in paddling the Potomac River Basin and adjacent watersheds.  We teach classes, promote river safety, and participate in river access and watershed conservation efforts.

Blue Ridge Voyageurs Invite to River Movie 1/15/25

About this event

The BRV invites you to see the Call of the River, a compressed history of paddling by Kent Ford. The Wednesday January 15 meeting will be held at the Clara Barton Rec Center at 7425 MacArthur Blvd in Cabin John, MD 20818—just off the beltway. It is a 90 minute film so please come early to help unload the chairs for seating and to be seated by 6:20. We need to have the chairs stacked & be out the door by 8 PM. There will be a door prize. We plan to go to a local eatery afterwards,
