As last year Loudoun Kayakers will have the lead, with CCAers invited to come in our own pod. Picnicking starts at 6:00.

This trip launches around 7:00 from Fletchers Boathouse after a patriotic picnic. Route goes down the Potomac to the bottom of Theodore Roosevelt island to watch the fireworks, which start at 9:00. Paddle back in the dark; the moon not rising until 4:04 AM.

Jim Byrne is in charge of the Loudoun Kayakers; Everyone should bring their own food and (non-alcoholic) drink - and glow-sticks for being seen on the river.
