There was a whole lot of surfing going on today on the A-L10 Trip. In K1s we had Ken J, Lisa L, John S, and Lisa W. In a Rec kayak was Bob Brown; In OC1s were Ginny Q, Gary Q, Mark W and yours truly. The river was rising starting with the Little Falls gauge of 4.17’ when we put on and 4.20’ when we took off. Weather was gorgeous. Besides the normal surfing at Offutt and Yellow Falls, folks surfed the channel between Perry and Hermit Islands. And a final surf session was held above Stubblefield on river left. Calleva was out with a class of Paddle Boards at Yellow Falls. No carnage to report. . Afterwards we had a great lunch at Fish Tacos, which is the reason some folks come paddling.
