About this event
The annual and bilingual environmental celebration of the Anacostia River is back! There will be fun activities for the whole family. Come learn about the River and enjoy a boat tour, fishing, live performances and Latin American food. <br /><br />Festival del Rio Anacostia is an annual event held at the Anacostia Waterfront Park in Bladensburg, Maryland. Our main goal is to improve the wellbeing of Latino Residents of the Anacostia Watershed through environmental engagement.<br /><br />The festival promoters are looking for a few paddlers to help clean up trash in the river. They will supply the canoes. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:00 AM.
