Thursday Paddle - Little Falls - 3.2 ft?
The level is projected to be 3.2’. For those who prefer to park at Lock 6, meet on the Feeder Canal at 11:00 ready to paddle Takeout options are (a) above Chain Bridge with a carry to the towpath and a paddle back up the canal to Lock 5, or (b) Fletcher's Cove, a mile farther downstream. Anyone who wants to take out at Fletcher’s should be sure to let Mark know; he will try to match them up with others to arrange a shuttle. He can also be reached on his cell at 240-343-0096. Reminder: due to eastbound one-way traffic controls, you cannot drive from Chain Bridge to Lock 5 or 6 until approximately 10:15 a.m. If the Little Falls gauge appears to be up to or above 3.2’ (as currently projected), Tim Tilson will lead an Anglers to Lock 10 trip. He will make his decision NLT than 7:00 am Thursday. If you might be interested, see Tim's trip posting.
