Sunday Paddle - Violettes Lock-GW Canal Loop
If you are interested in participating contact John Snitzer at navajuela@comcast.net.

This Sunday's trip will be the usual, the Violettes Lock loop down the GW canal with a Seneca Breaks option. Meet at 8:30 so we can be off the water before the heat builds in the afternoon. Water level will be in the low 3' range. Air temps in the mid eighties at put in, mid nineties at takeout.

Picnic to follow on the deck at Barb Brown's, a paddling riffraff friendly venue. Bring lunch and a drink. There will be watermellon and extras on the house.

Proper gear required: suitable boat, paddle, helmet, spray skirt, PFD. Please bring enough drinking water to stay hydrated on this hot day. Drop me a note if you are unsure of the difficulty of this trip.

COVID 19 has a virulent new variant so please be prepared to protect yourself and fellow paddlers via social distancing and/or masking as you see fit. Please stay home if you have a recent exposure, a positive test, or symptoms. Note that exposure is often inadvertent so you should take positive action to protect yourself and everyone else. People are still dying from this disease.

Please text or email so I can get a head count. See you Sunday. John
