We will return to Violettes Lock this week. Our route will take us across the Potomac, down through the islands on the VA side, back across the Potomac, then up the C&amp;O Canal where we may find that this year’s crop of persimmons are ripe enough to pick. The predicted water level is 3.2&#39; on the Little Falls gauge, with water temps in the 60s. <br /><br /><br />PFDs are required for all. Helmets are required for kayakers using spray skirts and highly recommended for all others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other means of flotation. Please dress appropriately.
