An Evening with Charlie Walbridge
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Please join us this evening, by Zoom, for our very special guest speaker, Charlie Walbridge. Charlie Walbridge has been a CCA member since 1970, when he taught school in the Washington suburbs. In the years that followed he has been a river guide, kayak instructor, equipment designer, and a widely-known whitewater safety expert. He has tracked whitewater fatalities since 1975, authored several books, and developed the ACA Swiftwater Rescue Instruction Program. He'll be talking about how river safety and rescue has evolved over the last 50 years, both for paddlers and first responders.
When:
Wednesday, March 24, 2021, 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM
