FINALLY THE CANAL IS WATERED from Violettes to Pennyfield!! Thanks to Alf Cooley's diplomacy with the NPS. Miki, John and I gave it a test last night and found it to be perfect -- bankfull and beautiful. At 4'7" there were plenty of surfing waves and eddy turns in the Breaks - a delightful change from the GW Canal.
