Paddling season is well under way. CCA members have led 25 trips in 2021, with 136 paddlers participating.
In addition to the ever popular GW Canal (7 trips), and Staircase (4 trips), The triple crown of the Antietam (upper, middle, and lower) is in the books. Both sections of the Rappahannock have been run. Trips headed west to paddle Passage and Cedar Creeks, and an exploratory trip on the middle Goose Creek may lead to better access in the future.
