Riverkeeper Seeks Volunteers for Potomac Water Monitoring
Received in April from Potomac Riverkeeper Dean Naujoks, with the Potomac Riverkeeper Network:
"Happy Clean Water Act 50! We are expanding our water quality monitoring program to high recreational use areas in Montgomery County at Little Falls, Old Angler's Inn, and Riley’s Lock to better serve the paddling community. We begin sampling weekly starting May 4 (every Wednesday) and are looking for volunteers who want to be trained, certified, and willing to participate in this program.
"If you are interested, please email Lisa Wu (our lab manager, lisa@prknetwork.org) or Morgan Bench (our volunteer coordinator, morgan@prknetwork.org)."
